The Housing Authority of the County of Merced Housing Choice Voucher Program provides Rental Assistance to qualified low income families and individuals.

The Housing Authority of the County of Merced will re-open its Housing Choice Voucher (Section 8) Program Rental Assistance Waiting List beginning on Tuesday January 15, 2008. Applications will be available on January 15th through January 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the O'Banion Center Located at: 401 Lesher Drive, Merced. Applications will be available at the main office after January 21st.

If an application has already been submitted, you do no need to re-apply. Completed applications must be returned to the Housing Authority's Main Office located at: 405 U Street, Merced, Ca.

Eligibility for a Housing Choice Voucher is based on annual gross income and family size. Please refer to income limits below.
